The different textures of sunscreens

Protecting our skin from the adverse effects that the sun's rays produce it, is part of our daily beauty routine, either summer or winter, to our face or entire body, the sunscreens are essential.

 

Once we've already found the level of protection they need, according to the pigmentation of our skin, the next step is to determine which of the different textures is the one that best suits our characteristics and preferences, so here's a list of all the textures that you find in specialized stores, discover which is what you should: 

 

  • Cream: This is the most dense or thick, but it is moisturizing, so it is advisable to dry skin. If you are from oily skin, this type of sunscreen is not for you.
  • Milk Tank: They are soft and refreshing, fast-absorbing, thanks to their formulas rich in oil or water, do not let the unpleasant feeling sticky. It is recommended for normal skins.
  • Gel: The gel protectors are made based on a liquid which is added photoprotectors and moisturizing substances. Does not contain fats and emulsifiers, which are very refreshing and appropriate for mixed skins, fat or prone to acne.
  • Spray: If you're spending a long day under the sun, this is the TPO of sunscreen that you should use. Vaporizer with its applicator, gives you freshness. It is ideal for sensitive skin and fat.
  • Oils dried: They apply easily, but usually under a protective factor.
  • Balm: For consistency semi, leaving a whitish layer, are recommended for areas that require extra protection, such as moles.
  • Gelatin: Similar to the gel, but more solid texture, are usually of low protection.
  • Mousse: Its sweetness and freshness turn them into the so-called "cosmetic pleasure." Use them if your skin is sensitive and / or prone to redness.
  • Manteca: For those who enjoy long baths in the sea or the pool, are very resistant. Perfect for dry skin.
